February 2023 Meeting

RAF Black Arrows Display Team

This month's meeting was dedicated to a long-promised documentary on the RAF's Black Arrows display team. The meeting was very well attended and the audience enjoyed the almost 120 minutes of documentary as related by some of the pilots of the team who famously looped 22 Hawk Hunters at RAF Farnborough in 1958, which was and still is a world record.

                    As a matter of administration, the newly elected committee has shared               out its responsibilities as follows:

              > Chair: Ray Ball    (and  Dairy Secretary )

              > Vice-Chair: Peter Whurr    (and Secretary)

              > Treasurer: Theo Claassen    (and Membership)

    

              Meetings dates for 2023 are at 19:30 on the fourth Monday of each                      month, with the exception of July when there will be a lunchtime                          gathering with a speaker.
